Co-Production involves consulting people who use services, involving them and working together from the start to the end of any project that affects them. When Co-Production works best, people who use services are valued as equal partners and are empowered to have some influence over the decisions made. Parents/carers need to know that their opinions count and they can make a difference to the shape and design of a service. This is why the Hillingdon PCF sends its parent/carer representatives to attend LA Workstream meetings. We are invited on these workstreams to make a contribution to the discussions and to represent the parent/carer voice in Hillingdon.
